The new OG DI system prototype looks great! I've been exploring various solutions to reduce pressure washer noise in my setup. A suggestion: before the metal cabinet is sealed, at a slight additional cost, you could reduce vibrations through the metal. I've used 80 mil Car Sound Deadening Mat around vents and metal for my projects, and it has significantly reduced vibrations. If there's a lot of dead space inside around the DI tanks and behind the flat metal back piece where the pressure washers and hose reel are mounted, filling it with sound-deadening material could help minimize noise and vibration transfer through the metal unit.

What’s your reccomdation new rupes cordless 15mm or Milwaukee ?

I mean I have no desire to do this while on vacation but I’m absolutely going to try this method when I detail my own car. Take it for what it is people. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Now you have an attention grabber. (Spot free rinsing). Used this water offer at one *do-it-yourself, car wash.* Such a time saver. Kept car; (what I call; waxed / extra slick paint. Rinse and then air dry by driving on a paved street. (Cool evening / no sunlight, *preferred;* in-order to dry vehicle).

You can also use wheel dollies or tyre cushions/savers - these will prevent tyre flat spots. I also bought some wheel covers to keep my alloys & tyres in good condition. I use all of the above, when storing a vehicle long term. Some people suggest using jacks but I'm not really keen on the idea.

Its hilarious that this kitchen got an insane renovation for the fridge to be empty & the freezer to be full of frozen pizzas & eggos. Classic.

Hey Matt you should really test out the shinemate polisher. EC details made a video comparing it against the LE polisher here and the shinemate did very well. I think you’ve said you wouldn’t test it out but there has been a lot of good feedback on them

id like to see the resin cartridges/fill. as for the noise on a tin cabinet, some dynamat or similar stuck on the back side of the cabinet would do a lot towards the resonance.

About the Bluesound soundbar. To put it into perspective. I have one under my LG G77. For 5.1.4 I have a B&W setup, with 803’s as front, the centre that goes with it and atmos build ins. For normal television I have the bluesound and I use that 90+% of the time with series and movies. And I am totally fine with it. Its a great soundbar. So if this ambeo is so much better, that says a lot. The recent price fall to €1700 makes me interested for another room on the ambeo.

It's a beautiful car! I had the same issue with my E46, driving it for a couple days would sort it out. My 991.2 is the same, if it's not driven regularly, it starts to clog up a bit. These cars need to be driven. I'd recommend taking it out 2 - 4 times per month for approx 40-45min, I usually take mine out on Sundays & public holidays. I'd try to do approx 5miles on a highway towards the midway -> end point of the drive - get the vehicle up to 70mph. I have to do the above as I live in colder climates, pipes and hoses start to crack if not driven. My 991 was perfect when used, and cost me a lot of money when not used. I certainly wouldn't advise leaving it running idle very often, as this may lead to carbon build up issues.

This setup looks amazing! It looks so good, I think you should also offer it without the DI system. Then you have a useful cabinet. Maybe you can enclose the pressure washers in upper cabinets. It'll need ventilation for the heat, but that would look very minimalist. Like when you install the controls for the lifts in a cabinet.

Very interesting and cool. Glad to see how similar this is to my setup that I’ve been using (minus the filtering system) as I chose to place my pw unit inside my cabinet with all the plumbing running behind and through the cabinet.

I know you will be testing different resins and how effective they are. I have a small detailing shop with a CR Spotless Simple Chuck and I’m spending over $600 per year just on resin for deionized rinsing. There is a big market for an efficient deionized system that can be sized for an enthusiast or a commercial shop. CR Spotless needs some competition.

Being completely honest, this is so much cleaner looking than the prevost systems.

I would like to see a bucket filler added to the side of the shelf too. A true all in one set up. Perhaps even a small sink for us one pressure washer guys. Sink could be helpful.

BMW's just give your that sense of accomplishing something, they make u feel like youve made it, like you are in a car made to drive. I had a 2013 audi s4 and i got rid of it. Currently driving and 06 bmw 525i and ill take this car over the s4 any day. Bmw just does it right. They make u feel some kind of way when u drive them.. and that feeling i wouldnt trade for anything

@11:35 looks like the mounting screws should go a centimeter or so higher for ease of installation. Looks like a fantastic product!
